Product Designer
Redgate Software
Driving the product design strategy for Redgate Monitor, I guide the product team to ensure our design approach aligns with organisational goals through data-driven OKRs. I act as a bridge between high-level business objectives and technical execution, ensuring the product roadmap delivers measurable value to the database community. I own the end-to-end UX for Redgate Monitor, focusing on enterprise-grade performance tuning capabilities and Query Tuning tools that enable users to resolve complex bottlenecks with precision. I am responsible for the design of a dynamic, ML-powered alerting system that proactively detects performance anomalies and significantly reduces alert fatigue through intelligent noise filtering. To maintain high design quality and team velocity, I facilitate division-wide workshops for ideation, story prioritisation, design critiques, and retrospectives.
Junior Product Designer

Worked alongside senior designers and developers to build expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and user research. Contributed to Redgate's internal design system team, helping design and develop a brand-aligned component library that established consistent interaction patterns across the entire product portfolio.
Product Design Intern

Contributed to customer research calls, affinity mapping, and competitor analysis for a new product initiative. Participated in Down Tools Week to design a unified Redgate platform UI and delivered a Level Up Week talk on practical accessibility improvements.
UX Research Assistant

Facilitated design sprints to improve the department's design process and validate solutions with real users. Built department websites and researched interactive prototypes for prospective students using both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
